REVIEW: Children’s Novel’s

Mufaro's Beautiful Daughters (John Steptoe)
In honor of Black History Month, here’s Part 1 of a list of 20 books that every young Black child should own/read. I feel this list is important because Black children need to see themselves in the books they read. Feel free to add to the list!

Note: Here’s the Whole List OMG!! MY PARENTS HAD A LIBRARY FILLED WITH THESE BOOKS! I feel so privileged/honored that I grew up reading almost every picture book on here. My Gods, so many memories come flooding back. The Stories Julian tells is particularly good!! It made me want lemon pudding foreverrrrrr. never read corduroy; im just judging by the other book covers. why is it on here? real question
